Carnival Destiny Cruise Ship Info, Sailing and Ports

When built in 1996, the Carnival Destiny was the world’s largest passenger ship (the first to be built with a gross tonnage of over 100,00).  The flagship of the Destiny class fleet, she underwent multi-million dollar dry dock renovations in 2005.

The Carnival Destiny has all of the amenities that Carnival is known for; a casino, video arcade, over a dozen bars, discos, and lounges, a spa, jogging track, duty-free shopping, 3 pools, and more.

Sailing from Miami, FL to the Caribbean and the Bahamas, most of the Destiny’s voyages are 4-5 days long.  The Carnival Destiny underwent renovations in 2008 when she was moved from her home port of San Juan, Puerto Rico to Miami.  As part of the renovations, the Destiny was fitted with the 12’ x 24’ LED screen system at the Lido pool.  She also now offers 600 balcony staterooms and suites.  To book your space on one of the upcoming Carnival Destiny cruises, simply indicate on your trip request form that you want to sail upon the Destiny and our Tripology travel agents will return your message within 24 hours to help you plan your perfect vacation.
