Carnival Holiday Class Cruise Ships - Ports and Sailings

There is one ship in the Holiday Class, the MS “Fun Ship” Holiday.

The smallest ship in the Carnival fleet, the Holiday took to the seas in 1985.  The ship was sent to dry dock in 2003 for a full renovation.  The Holiday was used for Hurricane Katrina relief during 2005, and underwent further renovations after leaving port in Mississippi, including technical renovations, the addition of a 9-hole golf course, and dining room enhancements.

The Holiday has since returned to it’s normal Western Caribbean voyages.  The ship, with 743 staterooms on 9 decks, can hold 1,452 passengers on each of its Caribbean cruise voyages.

Holiday ships offer a variety of stateroom styles.

Interior staterooms offer spacious rooms at budget prices.  Twin beds and doubles are available, and all rooms come with wall-mounted TVs.   For a bit more, you can get an Ocean View room, which can be easily upgraded to a state room with a Balcony.  And for an extra special cruise vacation, there are two type of suites on board the ships.  All suites aboard Carnival Holiday ships rival those on much higher-priced liners, and have whirlpool tubs, safes, walk-in closets, L-shaped sofas, and private balconies.  Our Tripology travel agents are here to help you decide which room is right for you in these affordable vacation packages.

On board the ship you can expect to find a myriad of amenities to make your time on the “fun ship” joyous.

Get a book from the loaning library and spend the day beside one of the 3 pools, or relax in one of the 2 whirlpools.  Spend the day on the sports deck, or test your luck in the casino.  And come nighttime, enjoy a nice sit-down meal before heading to any one of the multiple lounges including the vast Americana lounge, or cut a rug at one of the variety of dance clubs.

A rundown of the Lounges and Clubs:

- The  Americana Main Lounge has ample seating from which you can enjoy a variety of nightly performances.

- Reflections Dance Club is the largest club on board.  Go, mingle, make new friends, and dance the night away.

- Or dance at the smaller Tahiti Lounge.  Not into dancing?  Sit at one of the many tables available at Tahiti, or head over to

- Rick’s Café American Piano Bar, inspired by the bar in Casablanca.

- Doc Holiday’s Lounge offers country and western flair.

Restaurants:

The Holiday has two traditional dining rooms open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner: the Four Winds Dining Room and the Seven Seas Dining Room.

Pizzerias and Sushi bars are open throughout the afternoon for your off-hour enjoyment.

The Wharf Bar & Grill is a casual, buffet style option serving meals throughout the day.
