Mexico City, Mexico Group Tour

When people think “Mexico” the first thing that comes to mind is often the beach destinations, but Mexico City may be just the place for your upcoming group vacation.
The city, one of the world’s largest, is divided into 16 boroughs, though this article will only focus on the few that house tourist attractions.
Centro Historico is the historic center of the city.  The center of this borough is the Plaza of the Constitution, also known as Zócalo.  It is only shadowed in size by Red Square in Moscow, and is home to the Aztec Templo Mayor, City Hall, and La Catedral.
Chapultepec means grasshopper hill, and lives up to that name with a castle, lakes, gardens, museums, a zoo, even a castle.  It's a great place to spend a relaxing day while in one of the globe's most bustling cities.
Coyoacán was home to Frida Kahlo, her husband and lover, Diego Rivera and Leon Trotsky, and still is home to the counter-culture movement.
Discounting art galleries, Mexico City has the most museums in the world.  Visit the homes of Kahlo & Rivera and Trotsky, as well as the National Museum of Anthropology, the Museum of Modern Art, and the National History Museum.  Group walking tours of any of these areas can be arranged for you by Tripology agents.
Mexico City has only two seasons:  dry (Nov-April) and rainy (May-Oct).  Tripology can help you find the right vacation group package deal for your upcoming trip to Mexico City.  A great time to plan your visit would be in the days surrounding the Day of the Dead, which occurs each Nov 1-2.  Your group can go with the rest of the city to cemeteries and celebrate the dead by placing marigolds on their graves.
Visit “El Angel” of Independence monument on Reforma Ave, a massive avenue that runs through the city, the Basilica de Guadalupe, the holiest Catholic site in the Americas, and Torre Mayor, the highest skyscraper in Latin America.  And though Mexico city was taken by the Spanish, Aztec remains still exist within the city itself.  Visit Xochimilco, home to Aztec irrigation canals.
If Mexico City sounds right for your group vacation, look no further than Tripology.  We can help you create the perfect group itinerary by connecting you with expert travel agents that focus in travel to Mexico.  Just indicate when your group wishes to travel and where you’d like to go (with as much detail as possible!) and our agents will get in touch with you.  That’s just one way that we make your vacation planning easier.
