Seoul, South Korea Group Travel

Though the city has roots as far back as the 14th century, Seoul today is one of Asia’s most modern cities.  Near the Yellow Sea, Seoul is in the Northwestern section of the country.  The Gangnam-gu neighborhood is home to the majority of large hotels, and is most likely an area where your group will spend much of your vacation.  The historic section of the city is Jongno-gu, which lies on the Han-Gang River.  The skyscrapers that Seoul is famous for are in the district of Yeoui-do, as are the Stock Exchange and National Assembly.
While your group is in Seoul, visit some of the major palaces.  Tripology can help you arrange group tours of Changdeok-gung, Changgyeong-gung, Deoksu-gung, Gyeongbok-gung, and Geyonghui-gung.
Not only is Seoul known for the palaces in which royalty lived, but also for the shrines where they prayed.  Jongmyo Shrine is incredibly walker-friendly, and Mount Inwang and Jogyesa are also worth visiting.
Visiting Seoul and leaving without shopping bags is like going to Belgium and not tasting chocolate.  The best known area for “mall madness” is Myeongdong. Here you would be hard pressed to find an item or brand not represented.  Visit the massive Migilore, upscale department store UTOO, and for luxury goods, bring your group to Apgujeong.
