Antigua and Barbuda Honeymoon

With its white sandy beaches, coral reefs, deep harbor waters and British charm, its no wonder newlyweds flock from all over the world to experience an Antigua and Barbuda honeymoon vacation.

If beaches are what you crave, then you will simply adore an Antigua and Barbuda honeymoon.  Antigua is home to 365 beaches, one for every day of the year.  The pink sandy beaches of Barbuda are more secluded than those on Antigua, and are perfect for a romantic picnic or moonlit stroll.

There is more to do on an Antigua and Barbuda honeymoon vacation than simply lie around on the beach all day.  You can swim with stingrays at Stingray City, glide from treetop to treetop on the Antigua Rainforest Canopy Tour or even go bird watching at Barbuda’s Frigate Bird Sanctuary.   If you want to enjoy some water sports, make sure you head to Dickensons Bay, where you can go snorkeling, parasailing, water skiing and surfing.  You can also dive down and explore the numerous shipwrecks off the coast of Barbuda.

The official currency of Antigua and Barbuda is the Eastern Caribbean dollar, though small U.S. dollars are widely accepted. If you love all things boats, make sure to book your Antigua and Barbuda honeymoon vacation during sailing week, which takes place in the end of April and the beginning of May. Otherwise, you can book your Antigua and Barbuda honeymoon vacation any time of year, except for early September.  This is hurricane season and most of the hotels are closed during this time.
