BOA Steakhouse - Las Vegas

BOA Steakhouse is a chic space with solid steakhouse food and outstanding service. The Las Vegas take on the popular West Hollywood hot spot is tucked away on the third floor of the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace is well-worth the trek through this shopping establishment.  When the weather permits, the outdoor deck overlooking the Strip offers diners a perfect, relaxed setting to enjoy an outstanding meal.

The service at BOA Las Vegas is above-par. The wait staff possesses extensive food knowledge and provides solid advice about the menu and the nightly specials.

On our last visit, our appetizer selection consisted of heirloom tomatoes with milky buffalo mozzarella, incredible table-side steak tartare and the chopped salad.  All were great, but the steak tartare was perfectly seasoned and fresh. Steaks aren’t the only option at BOA, but they are an obvious choice.  All the steaks are perfectly-cooked and simply seasoned with cracked pepper and rock salt.  The bone-in filet and porterhouse were sizeable and outstanding.  The filet and the strip steak were solid favorites.  The menu features great a la carte side dishes and sauces for sharing and our favorites were the truffle mac & cheese, the bacon mashed potatoes and the creamed spinach.

The wine list, predictably heavy on Cabs and Zins, is extensive and offers some moderately-priced options. As it should be, BOA features great wine glasses which further add to the experience.
