Cayman Islands Honeymoon Vacation

The Cayman Islands are located less than 500 miles off the coast of Miami in the Caribbean and are composed of 3 main islands: Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.  With their pristine sandy shores and turquoise waters, it’s no wonder newlyweds travel from across the globe to enjoy a Cayman Islands honeymoon vacation.

Diving enthusiasts will marvel at the more than 200 dive sites located in and around the Cayman Islands.  If you and your loved one enjoy snorkeling, make sure you visit Cemetery Beach, part of the world famous 7-mile beach. Those looking to add some adventure to their Cayman Island honeymoon vacation should try swimming with Stingrays at North Sound’s Stingray City.  From there, newlyweds can hop on a submarine, travel 100 feet underwater and observe all the ship wrecks and coral canons from the submarine’s glass observation room.

No Cayman Islands honeymoon vacation would be complete without a visit to the Cayman Turtle Farm, the world’s only green sea turtle farm. Nature lovers will want to take a hike along the Majestic Trail, a 3.2-mile trail that runs through the dry subtropical forest of Grand Cayman. If you want to add some romance to you Cayman Island honeymoon vacation, try having a romantic picnic on Owen Island, located off the coast of Little Cayman.

The best time of year to book your Cayman Islands honeymoon vacation is anytime between December and April.  This is high season, so be sure to book a few months in advance.
