Destination Wedding Punta Cana

With magnificent white sand beaches, majestic golf courses, sunset horse rides, and ample water sports, Punta Cana is an ideal destination wedding location.  Located on the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic, this town offers everything you need for your big day and honeymoon.  The Coconut Coast is a rapidly expanding tourist area for good reason:  the all-inclusive resorts in the area are known for taking great care of their guests.  Much of the beach in the area is owned and used by resorts, though it remains a much smaller destination than other areas of the island.  If you want to see true seclusion, head to neighboring beaches in Cortecito.
Dependent on when you hold your Punta Cana destination wedding, it may be worth taking a day trip to Samana Bay.  It’s across the island, but whale watching in humpback breeding grounds may be worth the drive.  Peak season to visit the Dominican Republic runs from December-April, and breeding season is also in that time period.  If you want to see sea mammals at even closer range, head to Dolphin Island or Manati Park, where you can spend some personal time with the dolphins and even swim beside them.
One word on Punta Cana:  outside of the resorts, few people in the area speak English fluently.  If you are planning on spending some time with the locals, try to brush up on your Spanish, or bring a phrase book with you.
If Punta Cana sounds like the relaxed honeymoon destination you and your fiancée have been seeking, fill out a travel request form now.  Tripology travel agents expert in Caribbean destination weddings can get airline tickets for you and your wedding party as well as secure lodging in all-inclusive resorts at prices you may not find on other Caribbean islands.
