Destination Wedding Riviera Maya, Mexico

Pyramids, temples, altars, pillars, and myriad other Mayan remains dot the Riviera Maya, adding an element of history to your Mexican destination wedding.  That does not mean the area is at a loss for coastline, though.
The Riviera Maya is a meeting point for jungle, beach, and history.  The remains here date back to 2500 BC!  The Mayan Riviera is on the bottom tip of the Yucatan Peninsula, and is truly the embodiment of a Mexican Destination Wedding.   There is plenty for you and your destination wedding party to do, from snorkeling and scuba diving to swimming with whales, trekking through the forest and re-discovering history that was lost for centuries.  If you want a Caribbean vacation with so much more than white sand beaches, the Riviera Maya is the place for you and your loved one to share "I do's."
Home to popular beach destinations like Playa Del Carmen, Tulum, and Puerto Aventuras, there are options for everyone.  There is the newer resort town of Playa Del Carmen, known for its luxurious beaches, or you could stay in the original resort town, Tulum.  Tulum was the all-inclusive vacation spot of yester-year, where the Mayan Kings went to relax.  Today it offers accommodations a little less touristy than next-door Playa Del Camen, though there are a few resorts in the town.
If spending your mornings atop ancient ruins, then spending afternoons lounging by the Caribbean sounds like an idyllic destination wedding vacation, look no further than the Riviera Maya in Mexico.
