Destination Wedding Mazatlan, Mexico

Mazatlan is a Mexican vacation destination unlike any other.  Where most Mexican beach resorts are known only for margaritas and all-inclusive resorts, Mazatlan is a cultural destination, as well.
Dine to the sounds of Sinaloase music.  Enjoy a Carnaval celebration that rivals New Orleans’ Mardi Gras.  Bask in local culture at the end-of year festival of ballet, opera, and concerts at the Angela Peralta Theatre.  Eat a fresh coconut with lime, salt, or any number of hot sauces.  And, of course, enjoy days on the stunning beaches.
Visit the highest in-use natural lighthouse in the world, stop by el Mercado Pino Suarez to haggle for everything from fruits to crafts, and tour the Centro Histórico.  Highlights are the Teatro Angela Peralta, built in the 19th century, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, and quaint restaurants and cafés lining the Machado Square.  See cliff divers even more impressive than those in Acapulco (these cliffs are 45’ high, the best time to see jumpers is in the morning hours).
And though Mazatlan is rich with culture, it, too, holds the reputation of most Mexican resort towns as a nightlife destination.  Go to any number of bars and clubs to try out your Español, though most natives speak at least a bit of English.
The two peak tourist times are Carnaval (towards the end of February) and Semana Santa (Easter Week) when main roads shut down to autos and the town is packed with revelers.  Whether you choose to go to Mazatlan during a festival or in the more quiet off-season parts of year, Tripology can help you plan your destination wedding Mazatlan so that it’s one to remember.
