Destination Wedding Kauai, Hawaii

Though all of Hawaii is stunning, Kauai is truly in a class of its own when it comes to natural, unspoiled beauty.  Nicknamed “the Garden Island,” there is something to see around every corner of Kauai, which makes it an idyllic setting for your upcoming destination wedding.
What more romantic than walking hand in hand down an empty golden sea beach?  What makes you radiate love more than cascading waterfalls deep in the rainforest?  If you aren’t sold yet, remember that this location was good enough for the King himself (Elvis wed on Kauai in “Blue Hawaii”).
The most breathtaking of attractions on the island is Waimea Canyon, followed closely by the cliffs along the Na Pali Coast.  Over 10 miles long and 1 mile wide, Waimea is known as the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific.”  Na Pali’s cliffs are thousands of feet high and drop into some of America’s most pristine sands. (Many are reachable only by boat, helicopter, or challenging hike.)
Whether your destination wedding party is looking to rent a condo, stay in an all-inclusive resort, or enjoy the warmth of a bed and breakfast, Kauai has something for you.  Kapa’a is home to the more moderately priced resorts, though most resorts are in the Po’ipu area.  For an exclusive, luxury stay, head to Princeville on the North Shore, home to some of the nation’s best golf courses.
Regardless of where you stay, Kauai was developed much later than the other islands, giving it a quaint, undisturbed feel that is only made stronger by building restrictions (hotels can not be more than 40’ tall).  People visit Kauai for the surf, the sun, and the snorkeling, but it offers much more than that.  To begin planning your destination wedding in a true island oasis, fill out a free travel request form now.
