Fabulous chance to check oout a couple of hotels -

Loved the Peppermill - in the newly opened Tuscany Tower.

One really nice feature is a wall near the convention center that lists ALL the restaurants and their menus...

Also stayed at Grand Sierra in "The Summit"...nice accommodations.  The decor is done in blacks and dark browns -

The West course is all uphill! The course meanders through the desert going uphill....check out this hole - we hit up from down near the water...

Beautiful course with lots of  challenges....

We have only been playing for a couple of years and are f inding it a great way to have an excuse for traveling....

Dining was arranged for us by locals - and we enjoyed their choices -

Near the Eagle Valley course we ate a Glen Eagles - loved the Macadamia crusted Halinut and the incrediblly rich dark chocolate Silk Pie.

 

Breakfast at a local - Big Ed's Alley Inn -

 

Dinner at Roxie's  at the El Dorado was fantastic...

and for a real French  atmosphere a small local restaurant call Cafe Beaujolais...
