United Airlines

This is a pleasure to write - I was impressed by the customer service appreciation offered by  United Airlines.

We were not able to take off from San Francisco due to heavy winds and a wet, rainy runway.

We were kept on the ground for 2 hours. In fact we had to return to the gate for refueling as we ad used fuel sitting and waiting fir a break in the winds...

United immediately sent an email offering an appreciation - 2 different amounts of money for a future flight - or miles for mileage plus accounts.

It's nice to be able to say something positive about an airline.
